Superstar comedian teams up with Calif. developers to build a theme park
""I just wanted to let you know we are starting a theme park," Bargatze said on Nov. 18 during a recorded announcement at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo in Orlando, Florida. "I am starting it, and I partnered with Storyland to help us build it, because guess what? I'm a comedian that doesn't know how to build a theme park but I do know I want a place where families and friends can come to and ride all the rides.""
"The park, which he revealed will be called Nateland, is a partnership between his Nateland Entertainment company and Storyland Studios, a Southern California-based theme park developer that worked on the redesign of Redwood Territory in California's Great America. "Nate and Nateland are committed to good, clean, family-friendly entertainment," Felix Verdigets, CEO of Nateland Entertainment, said in a statement on Storyland Studios' website."
Nate Bargatze announced plans to build a theme park called Nateland in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. He partnered with Storyland Studios, a Southern California theme park developer, to design and build the attraction. Nateland Entertainment emphasizes clean, family-friendly entertainment and aims to provide a major attraction for people of all ages in middle Tennessee. The team is scouting potential sites around Nashville. Bargatze revealed the announcement at the IAAPA Expo in Orlando and described a desire to create rides where families and friends can gather. He previously worked at Opryland USA and envisions a wider entertainment empire.
