Slow Ventures hosted a three-hour Etiquette Finishing School covering the perfect handshake, public speaking, office decorum, a fashion show with models demonstrating occasion-appropriate looks, and a closing lesson on caviar and wine. A few hundred founders applied for the free program at the Four Seasons in San Francisco; 50 founders were accepted and most attendees were male. The idea began as a joke after gauging interest at Y Combinator's Demo Day.
