Kai, a San Jose-based cybersecurity startup founded by Galina Antova and Damiano Bolzoni, emerged from stealth with $125 million in seed and Series A funding from Evolution Equity Partners, N47, and other investors. The company's AI-powered platform bridges IT and OT cybersecurity environments, providing autonomous and continuous security capabilities. The platform includes threat detection, application and identity security, threat modeling, cyber asset enrichment, risk profiling, vulnerability management, shadow IT/OT discovery, threat intelligence distillation, regulatory compliance automation, and log optimization. Antova previously co-founded Claroty, an OT security leader, while Bolzoni co-founded SecurityMatters, acquired by Forescout in 2018. Funding will support R&D, platform scaling, and go-to-market acceleration.
