"The company has just raised a $75 million Series A, led by London-based venture capital firm Accel Partners with participation from Bek Ventures, Kaya VC, and Tenacity Capital. Angel investors, including Slack cofounders Stewart Butterfield and Cal Henderson, Synthesia CEO Victor Riparbelli, and executives from Google DeepMind, Figma, and ElevenLabs also participated in the funding round."
Fryderyk Wiatrowski joined Meta to find a co-founder and met Peter Albert, an engineer from the Llama 2 team. They experimented with AI and built products that led to Viktor, an AI agent embedded in Slack or Microsoft Teams. Viktor acts like a virtual coworker that team members message to pull reports, build internal apps, and handle other routine tasks. It connects to tools such as Google Drive, Meta Ads, Airtable, Notion, and Shopify, while maintaining persistent memory about how the organization operates. It can also scan public channels and propose workflows to take over. Viktor has raised a $75 million Series A, reached a $15 million annualized revenue run rate, and is used by more than 2,000 organizations.
