Nick Saban acquired a minority ownership stake in the NHL's Nashville Predators via Dream Sports Ventures LLC alongside business partner Joe Agresti. Saban and Agresti also partner in Dream Motor Group, which operates 10 car dealerships including two in Nashville, and in other business ventures. Saban retired from coaching after the 2023 season with a 297-71-1 record across 28 years and seven national championships, one at LSU and six at Alabama. Bill Haslam became Predators chairman on July 1, 2024 and assumed majority ownership of the franchise on July 3, 2024; Haslam served as Tennessee governor from 2011 to 2019.
