Amazon fulfillment competitor Stord raises $250M at $3B valuation | TechCrunch

Stord raised a $250 million funding round at a $3 billion valuation, led by Strike Capital with participation from Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Franklin Templeton, Baillie Gifford, G Squared, and Bond. The valuation doubled from a year-ago round. Founded in 2015 by Sean Henry and Jacob Boudreau while at Georgia Tech, the company reached unicorn status in 2021 and later navigated a VC funding winter. In 2025, it raised a $200 million round at a $1.5 billion valuation and has raised about $775 million total. Stord provides warehouse networks and inventory management software for e-commerce, positioning itself as an anti-Amazon model that preserves brand customer relationships. It added an AI interface and gained renewed attention, including a highlight by Google at Cloud Next in April.
