United Airlines is launching a new seating arrangement called United Relax Row, featuring extendable couches for economy passengers on long-haul flights. This innovative seating, the first of its kind in North America, will be available on select planes by 2027 and on at least 200 Boeing 787 and 777 aircraft by 2030. The Relax Row will include amenities such as mattress pads, blankets, pillows, and plush toys for children, catering especially to families traveling together.
