"Trans supporters couldn't stop themselves making the obvious joke. Hundreds of people responded to by writing remarks satirically claiming Mamdani had come out as trans. "Everybody's transgender now, let's f**king go, we're so back," one person joked, while another wrote: "Damn, I wish I had a million-dollar transition fund." Someone else said: "So proud of my comrade Zohran for raising money for their gender care.""
