Former Trump White House lawyer Ty Cobb forcefully criticized President Donald Trump after a Davos appearance. Trump delivered a lengthy, rambling World Economic Forum speech lasting well over an hour that included falsehoods, exaggerations, attacks on allies and enemies, and off-topic asides. Trump raised his false 2020 election claims and said people would soon be prosecuted. CNN anchor Erin Burnett questioned whether that threat was significant at an international moment. Cobb said Trump cannot complete a sentence without raising grievances, asserting revenge fantasies like the alleged rigged election, or seeking personal glory with exaggerated claims.
