The Winklevoss twins have dramatically increased Republican-focused political giving, contributing more than $32 million this year after beginning donations in 2017. They directed about $21 million to the Digital Freedom Fund, a new pro-Trump, pro-crypto super PAC aimed at next year's midterms, with an early focus on opposing Sen. Sherrod Brown, a crypto skeptic. Additional gifts include more than $2.6 million to House-focused GOP groups, $1 million to MAGA Inc., over $1.6 million to Senate-focused committees, more than $800,000 to the Republican National Committee, and over $330,000 linked to post-2024 campaign debt relief.
