"I would go if, you know, it was a little bit shorter."
"I think it's a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible."
"It's for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown. This is for my people, my culture and our history."
President Trump will not attend Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, saying the event is too far away and that he would attend if it were shorter. The game will feature the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks, teams from Massachusetts and Washington, states that have voted Democratic since 1988. Trump criticized musical performers Bad Bunny and Green Day as critics of his administration and called the choices terrible and divisive. Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, previously avoided a U.S. tour over ICE concerns but accepted the Super Bowl to honor Puerto Rican culture. Green Day altered a lyric to "I'm not part of the MAGA agenda."
