Jimmy Kimmel had accused MAGA of trying to distance Robinson from their movement despite family and Utah officials saying Robinson shifted toward leftist ideologies before the shooting. Nexstar preempted Kimmel's show and ABC announced an indefinite suspension; Sinclair and FCC Chair Brendan Carr also criticized Kimmel and demanded accountability. Korn said she would never celebrate a Democrat's death but called those who celebrated Kirk's death evil and urged employers to fire people who made light of the killing.
