ICE agents shot and killed 37-year-old Alex Pretti in Minneapolis after a scuffle; the federal government claimed Pretti attacked agents and was legally armed. Footage showed Pretti holding a phone while recording and being wrestled to the ground; one agent appeared to remove a gun from his waistband before another agent suddenly opened fire. The shooting followed a similar incident involving 37-year-old Renee Good. Rep. Pete Sessions blamed protesters for following and recording agents, suggesting provocations led to Pretti's death. Pamela Brown countered that recording agents and possessing firearms are protected by the First, Second and Fourth Amendments.
