Vance says Biden not healthy enough to be president after prostate cancer news: 'I blame the people around him'
Briefly

Vice President JD Vance expressed serious concerns about former President Biden's health, suggesting he lacked the capability to fulfill presidential duties. This statement came shortly after Biden's office disclosed his prostate cancer diagnosis, which raised questions about the transparency of his health status. Vance criticized Biden's former staff for allegedly concealing information about his health. He emphasized the critical nature of the situation, particularly given Biden's responsibilities as president, including maintaining national security. The article highlights debates about health disclosures for public officials and accountability for political staffers.
We really do need to be honest about whether the former president was capable of doing the job. Whether it was doctors or whether it was staffers around the former president, I don't think he was able to do a good job for the American people.
In some ways I blame him less than I blame the people around him, of course we wish the best for the former president's health.
Why didn't the American people have a better sense of his health picture? This is serious stuff. This is a guy who carries around the nuclear football for the world's largest nuclear arsenal.
The timing of the statement made some doctors question how the cancer could have been missed for so long, given that Biden received annual physicals as president.
