Sanctions were also implemented against a Russian national and four associated companies for involvement in a Russia-based IT worker scheme employing North Koreans.
The measures represent the first instance of a member of the Andariel hacking group being connected to the fraudulent IT worker scheme, showcasing an expanding threat.
