Shapiro labeled silence from Carlson and others as cowardice and said friendship with public figures who commit wrongdoing is no excuse for remaining quiet. Shapiro criticized Carlson for glorifying Nick Fuentes and argued that offering a guest requires asking tough questions and owning agreement when it exists. Shapiro called Fuentes an evil troll and said building him up was an act of moral imbecility that required responsibility from hosts.
