Trump issued a 50 day ultimatum to Russia to end the war, and then this week the US President gave Moscow 10 days. Trump said this week reduced the timeline as he said he sees "no reason to wait" and he is "not interested in talking" with Putin.
Senator Jim Risch, chairman of the Senate foreign relations committee said the latest sanctions will also include 100% tariff on those who buy Russian oil, such as China and India.
