Gianni Infantino appeared second onstage at the America Business Forum in Miami after President Trump. Infantino answered a question about whether the first FIFA Peace Prize recipient would be someone seen earlier that day by saying the winner will be revealed on December 5. Infantino described Trump as a "close friend" and called him "very helpful" with preparations for the 2026 World Cup in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Infantino praised Trump’s energy and noted that Trump does what he says and says what many people think. Trump has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize multiple times but lost this year to María Corina Machado.
