Trump says he doesn't know if aliens are real but directs government to release files on UFOs
""I don't know if they're real or not,""
""I may get him out of trouble by declassifying.""
""statistically, the universe is so vast that the odds are good there's life out there.""
""to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters.""
President Donald Trump directed the Pentagon and other federal agencies to identify and release files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs). Trump said he did not know whether extraterrestrials are real and suggested he might help former President Barack Obama "out of trouble by declassifying" records after Obama commented on the statistical likelihood of life elsewhere. Obama clarified that he had not seen evidence that aliens "have made contact with us" while noting the vastness of the universe. Lara Trump said the president had a speech prepared about aliens for the "right time," and Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said a speech would be news to her.
