The Department of Justice removed at least 16 files from the public Epstein document webpage less than a day after posting. One removed file, file 468, showed a drawer with photographs including one featuring Donald Trump with Jeffrey Epstein, Melania Trump and Ghislaine Maxwell, and another showing Trump surrounded by women. The DOJ cited victim-protection obligations under a New York judge's order and federal law prohibiting release of material that could identify survivors. The DOJ does not believe the image depicts survivors but pulled the photo after receiving concerns and is investigating.
