And we, you know, win, lose, we just fight to sort of a tie, we never wanted to win. Wars that every one of them we would have won easily with just a couple of little changes."
"But we never fought to win. And now we, if we have to fight at all you know we solved seven wars. We had the one that I thought was going to be probably one of the easier ones, with President Putin and Ukraine, and that turned out to be one that is a little bit more difficult. Trump emphasized winning, criticized past political correctness, and said the United States often failed to fight to win. He claimed to have solved seven conflicts and described the Russia–Ukraine situation as more difficult than expected, vowing it will be resolved or there will be consequences. Secretary Pete Hegseth was present at the Oval Office signing.
