Trump Frees George Santos in Bombshell Friday Night Order
"As everyone remembers, Da Nang stated for almost twenty years that he was a proud Vietnam Veteran, having endured the worst of the War, watching the Wounded and Dead as he raced up the hills and down the valleys, blood streaming from his face. He was a Great Hero, he would leak to any and all who would listen And then it happened! He was a COMPLETE AND TOTAL FRAUD."
"Previously I was not entertaining a pardon because I didn't know what my judgement was going to be. Now I am in the process of filling an application for a pardon from the president. I'll take a commutation, clemency, whatever the president is willing to give me, and you know, I don't want this to seem like a political pitch, I want it to be a fair pitch, and I think no one better than President Trump to know what a weaponized J"
President Donald Trump signed a commutation releasing former Congressman George Santos from prison immediately. Trump compared Santos to Senator Richard Blumenthal, accusing Blumenthal of falsely claiming Vietnam service and calling that conduct worse than Santos’s. Trump said Santos had been in solitary confinement and mistreated, described Santos as a rogue but contrasted him with other rogues, and wished Santos a good life. Santos had been sentenced to 87 months in prison and publicly sought a pardon or commutation, telling Piers Morgan he was applying for clemency and would accept any relief the president offered.
