In a recent Oval Office address, President Trump discussed accusations regarding Elon Musk's potential access to sensitive U.S. military strategies related to China. Responding to a question about a New York Times report claiming Musk was to be presented a war plan, Trump dismissed the notion as 'fake news' and emphasized that he wouldn’t share such critical information with anyone, including Musk. Trump defended Musk as a patriot and acknowledged concerns from Democrats about his business ties in China, implying potential vulnerabilities.
Because I don't want to show it to anybody. You know, you're talking about a potential war with China. Now, I deal with these people all the time... But I certainly wouldn't want, you know, Elon has businesses in China, and he would be susceptible, perhaps, to that.
It was such a fake story. The New York Times is just as fake as CNN and MSDNC. And anybody who read that story, people laughed at that story.
