Eight new electric buses will be added to the Camden line to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve air quality and provide more reliable NJ Transit service in Camden. A one-year Atlantic City shuttle pilot will launch this fall with two round trips daily between Vineland and Atlantic City to connect Cumberland County residents with casino and other employment opportunities while reducing traffic. A one-time $5 million federal investment will expand microtransit systems in underserved rural parts of South Jersey to improve transit access. These measures aim to enhance connections to jobs, schools, and healthcare and strengthen the regional economy.
