"For decades, our government has shrouded the truth about UFOs in a veil of secrecy. Strange crafts have been spotted soaring through our skies, defying the laws of physics, and yet the bureaucrats in Washington act like we're too NAIVE to handle the facts. They tell us we're crazy like we can't see these things flying through the air with our own eyes. I SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! The American people aren't children to be spoon-fed half-truths or dismissed with vague excuses. We deserve to know what's really going on up there."
"During a House Oversight Committee hearing last November, Boebert asked the witnesses, There are rumors that have come up to the hill of a secretive project within the Department of Defense involving the manipulation of human genetics with what is described as non-human genetic material, potentially for the enhancement of human capabilities, hybrids. Are any of you familiar with that, yes or no?"
"After all of the experts said no to Boebert's question, she later followed up by asking, And so are there any accounts of UAP emerging from or submerging into our water which could indicate a base or presence beneath the ocean's surface?"
Rep. Lauren Boebert centered a reelection fundraising email on UFOs, explicitly asking readers, "Are aliens real?!" She has repeatedly raised UAP questions in public and at a House Oversight hearing. At the hearing she asked witnesses about alleged Defense Department projects manipulating human genetics with "non-human genetic material" and later asked whether UAP have emerged from or submerged into U.S. waters, suggesting possible underwater bases. The fundraising email accused government bureaucrats of secrecy and urged Americans deserve the truth, included donation links, and prompted local media coverage and a Democratic analyst's critical reaction.
