The UBS Global Wealth Report showed that the U.S. contains about 40% of global millionaires despite being only 4% of the population. In 2024, global personal wealth rose by 4.6%, with notable growth in Eastern Europe (12%) and North America (nearly 12%). Over 680,000 new millionaires were created globally in 2024, led by 379,000 new millionaires in the U.S., which dominates millionaire growth. Wealth growth rates were highest in Türkiye (8.4%) and the UAE (5.8%), while mainland China and India added significant new millionaires as well.
