Sen. John Kennedy appeared in a Fox Business interview with Larry Kudlow, discussing immigration issues. A technical glitch occurred during the segment, creating confusion regarding Kennedy's ability to hear and respond. The incident was misinterpreted by some as a health scare. Kennedy criticized sanctuary cities for not following federal law, stating that mayors intentionally breaking the law are undermining authority. Kudlow confirmed the technical difficulties were similar to those experienced by another senator on the program.
I'm not saying states don't have rights, but clearly we have some sanctuary cities and mayors and councils there that are just intentionally refusing to follow federal law.
I was just going to say in terms of these mayors, I'm not saying they're bad people. I'm sure Jesus loves them, but everybody else thinks they're idiots.
If you're a mayor, you can't refuse to follow federal law. They're breaking the law, and we're going to have to do something about it.
I guess we had some more technical problems. That was the same mic as we lost with Senator Rand Paul.
