Trump, against Congressman Jason Crow." "What they're saying: "All of these posts by the President of the United States are intimidating, threatening, and concerning," Crow's office wrote in the email. "After these messages by the President, our congressional offices have seen a significant uptick in calls and emails with violent rhetoric and additional threats." They added: "We will continue to report those individually to U.S. Capitol Police and ask that they be investigated immediately.""
Rep. Jason Crow's office emailed the U.S. Capitol Police to report threats made by President Donald J. Trump against Congressman Jason Crow. The email cited Truth Social posts that called Democratic lawmakers "TRAITORS," demanded they be "ARRESTED and PUT ON TRIAL," declared "LOCK THEM UP," referenced "SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH," and reposted "HANG THEM GEORGE WASHINGTON WOULD !!" Crow's office described the posts as intimidating and said congressional offices have seen an uptick in violent calls and emails. The office pledged to report additional threats individually and requested immediate investigation. The Capitol Police declined to comment, and the White House denied the posts constituted a threat. A group of Democratic lawmakers recorded a video urging service members to refuse unlawful orders.
