The Bitcoin Policy Institute partnered with Save Our Wallets, CoinCenter, the Bitcoin Design Foundation, and regional Bitcoin hubs to launch the "Satoshi Needs You!" campaign. The campaign mobilizes Bitcoin supporters to contact elected officials and request support for Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act (BRCA) provisions included in the Senate CLARITY Act draft. The provisions offer protections for developers and providers of noncustodial crypto technology and for everyday users of noncustodial bitcoin and crypto tools. Without these protections, peer-to-peer bitcoin transaction rights could be restricted and developers could face prosecution.
