The White House social media team used Sabrina Carpenter's song "Juno" in a video depicting law enforcement apprehending individuals during apparent immigration actions. Sabrina Carpenter called the video "evil and disgusting" and demanded that her music not be used to benefit an inhumane agenda. A PR representative referred inquiries to Carpenter's social post. The White House responded by quoting Carpenter's lyrics and defended deportations, calling defenders of migrants "stupid, or is it slow?" The video remained on X and TikTok as of late Tuesday. Similar unauthorized uses of artists' music by Trump administration accounts have occurred previously, drawing artists' objections.
