Jackie Fox will take up the role of RTÉ's Washington Correspondent in March and will report across RTÉ News' online and social platforms and on television and radio. She will cover all aspects of life in the United States and provide analysis of how US policy decisions affect Ireland. She has reported extensively on US politics and global affairs, including the 2024 US Presidential Election in Washington DC, and has worked at RTÉ for 14 years. She has reported from Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia and Seychelles on human rights and climate change, created and co-presented the States of Mind podcast, and presented Morning Ireland and This Week. Her qualifications include an MA in American Studies from the UCD Clinton Institute, an MA in Journalism and a BA in Communication Studies from DCU, and a London School of Economics certificate in Business, International Relations, and the Political Economy.
