Out gay Colorado Gov. Jared Polis mocks Donald Trump's 'unflattering painting'
Briefly

In response to Donald Trump's complaints regarding an unflattering portrait of him in the Colorado State Capitol, Governor Jared Polis creatively marked April Fool's Day by posting a comedic version of his own portrait, styled like a character from South Park. The portrait had been ordered down by the Colorado GOP following Trump's criticisms, where he not only denounced the portrayal but also disparaged Polis. The artist, Sarah Boardman, had aimed to capture a thoughtful essence of Trump in her work before it was removed.
In honor of April 1, April Fools' Day, Polis posted a new official portrait of himself that featured 'Colorado art'—his likeness in the style of the hit animated comedy series South Park, which takes place in Colorado.
Trump wrote on Truth Social, 'The artist also did President Obama, and he looks wonderful, but the one of me is truly the worst. She must have lost her talent as she got older.'
