Norwegian pension fund divests from companies selling to Israeli military

KLP, Norway's largest pension fund, has decided to stop its business with Oshkosh Corporation and ThyssenKrupp. This decision follows reports from the UN indicating that these companies are supplying military equipment utilized by the Israeli army in Gaza. KLP concluded that these actions violate their responsible investment guidelines. They had investments totaling approximately $2.8 million in both companies as of June 2025. KLP's decision emphasizes its commitment to ethical investment practices, particularly concerning the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
According to the pension fund, it had investments worth $1.8m in Oshkosh and almost $1m in ThyssenKrupp until June 2025.
Our conclusion is that the companies Oshkosh and ThyssenKrupp are contravening our responsible investment guidelines, the statement said.
