President Donald Trump scolded a Bloomberg reporter aboard Air Force One, telling her "Quiet, quiet, piggy!" after a follow-up question about Epstein files. At a White House event with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, ABC reporter Mary Bruce asked whether Trump's family doing business in Saudi Arabia represented a conflict of interest. Trump responded by calling ABC "fake news" and saying he would answer the question. Many reporters condemned the president's comments. On CNN's The Lead, Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar defended Trump, calling him "picturesque" and saying she focuses on his policies, not his personality.
