She praised President Trump, the vice president and J.D. Vance, calling administration figures people "with heart and soul" and saying she relates to and loves them. Minaj mocked California Gov. Gavin Newsom as "New-scum" and briefly called Vance an "assassin" before appearing to regret the word choice. Erika Kirk, who leads Turning Point and became a widow after Charlie Kirk's assassination in September, endorsed Vance and expressed affection for Minaj. Minaj amplified calls for potential sanctions on Nigeria over persecution of Christians.
