She said she would check with the speechwriting team and described the topic as of great personal interest and of interest to those in the room, and apparently to former President Obama. Leavitt said they would keep the press posted. Lara Trump said she had heard that her father-in-law has a prepared speech and that he will address possible extraterrestrial life at the right time, though she did not know when. Obama said the universe is vast and the odds are good that life exists, while noting he has not seen aliens.
