"He was referring to a rally in Tel Aviv on Saturday where hundreds of thousands of people celebrated the pending release of 48 hostages from Gaza; out of the remaining hostages, 20 are believed to be alive. President Trump described simultaneous celebrations in Israel and Muslim and Arab countries as unprecedented while departing for Israel after brokering a deal with Hamas. A deal will free dozens of hostages on Monday, including 48 pending releases celebrated at a Tel Aviv rally. Of the remaining hostages, 20 are believed alive. The rally drew hundreds of thousands and occurred more than two years after terrorists attacked from Gaza on Oct. 7, 2023, killing roughly 1,200 people and taking hundreds of hostages. The crowd chanted "Thank you, Trump!" while envoys and Jared Kushner, credited with helping broker the deal, praised Israeli responses.
