Rep. Nancy Mace held a town hall in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she asserted her seriousness as a Congress member. She proposed to ban chemtrails and removal of fluoride from drinking water. After claiming credit for infrastructure funding, a reporter fact-checked her by highlighting that Mace voted against the bill that allocated the funds. Mace insisted she can take credit as part of her job to help secure federal appropriations, despite arguing that much of the funding was wasted.
I can tout that because I will often argue over how much money is spent, how much money is wasted. The vast majority of the funding in that bill was completely wasted.
When there's money being appropriated by the federal government, it is literally our job to make sure that we help organizations, government entities, state and local, get those appropriations.
