A reporter asked when Congress should demand oversight amid repeated ICE abuses. Activists held an emergency World Naked Bike Ride in Portland to protest an ICE facility in South Portland and to promote alternatives to fossil fuels and body positivity. Organizers urged the Portland City Council to revoke land use approval for the facility. Organizers said the vulnerability of bodies contrasted with neighbors being kidnapped and protesters being brutalized. The event included a die-in demonstration.
