Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey demanded ICE leave the city after federal agents shot and killed a man during an early-morning confrontation. Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara confirmed a shooting and said the deceased appeared to be a 37-year-old white Minneapolis resident. Video showed multiple masked federal agents tussling with the man before several shots were fired and demonstrators clashing with unidentified agents. Frey called the footage a pummeling and killing of a constituent and renewed calls to end ICE’s deployment. Frey praised 15,000 peaceful protesters and blamed mass militarized, unidentified federal forces for weakening the country.
