"So I'm a Notre Dame grad, so Amy Coney Barrett coming out of my university makes me furious. Just on a personal level. I talked to somebody yesterday who said they saw her with Brett Kavanaugh at a tailgate last weekend and I was like, I would not be able to control myself. That would be bad. There would be beers thrown in peoples' faces."
Mallory McMorrow, a Michigan state senator and candidate for the U.S. Senate, said she would not be able to control herself if she encountered Justices Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh and that there would be beers thrown in people’s faces. McMorrow said Barrett, a Notre Dame alumna, angers her personally and that someone told her they saw Barrett with Kavanaugh at a tailgate. The remark was posted to social media by Townhall and prompted condemnation from conservative outlets and the National Republican Senatorial Committee, which criticized her temperament and called for help.
