Letters: The Delta tunnels should never be built
Briefly

This article presents letters expressing opposition to California's Delta tunnel project and support for San Ramon's Climate Action Plan. Opponents argue that high costs and environmental damage make the tunnel project unjustifiable, while proponents highlight the pre-existing support for San Ramon's climate initiatives and their potential effectiveness. The contrasting viewpoints reflect concerns over water resource management and environmental sustainability in California, emphasizing the importance of regulatory systems in managing large infrastructure projects.

The cornerstone measure that they've based their plan around has its roots in existing legislation and the goals of the Open Space Advisory Committee of San Ramon.
