Kremlin oligarchs are 'extremely unhappy' with Putin as he is not taking Trump's offer - London Business News | Londonlovesbusiness.com

Russian oligarchs are unhappy with Vladimir Putin's refusal to accept Donald Trump's peace proposal. Amidst fears of a recession in Russia, elites see the American president's terms as generous and reasonable. Ilya Ponomarev noted that even the most loyal Kremlin supporters are running out of patience. They are conveying warnings about the economy's potential collapse to urge Putin to prioritize peace and normalcy. Trump's threats against Moscow during a fundraiser reflect rising tensions and frustrations over the situation.
Russian elites are extremely unhappy because Putin is not taking Trump's offer. This was very clearly seen at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum. They're actually telling Putin stories that the Russian economy is about to plunge into recession, which I don't think is the case.
The only reason for this is to urge Putin to stop playing games with the military and come back to normalcy. And that's what Russian elites want. They're right now very unhappy because they don't understand why Putin is not taking Trump's offer, which they think is very generous.
Earlier this week, the US President expressed his frustration over Putin and threatened he could bomb the 'sh*t out of Moscow,' warning him I might 'have no choice.'
During a fundraiser in 2024, Trump claimed he threatened Putin with, 'If you go into Ukraine, I'm going to bomb the sh*t out of Moscow. I'm telling you I have no choice.' He mentioned Putin's initial disbelief but implied that Putin believed him 10%.
