'Kill the liberals': Watertown resident reports flyers with violent message
"Save America, kill the liberals."
"In America, the law is king,"
"No kings."
"We're still looking into it,"
Police responded to Cuba Street on Sept. 12 after a resident reported a political flyer containing a possible threat. The resident, who displayed a political sign in the front yard, found a handwritten page in Sharpie that read 'Save America, kill the liberals.' Officers located ten additional copies of the same flyer, apparently photocopied, on nearby ground and sidewalks. The front-yard political sign quoted Thomas Paine with the phrases 'In America, the law is king' and 'No kings.' The incident was referred to the Commonwealth Fusion Center, which works with federal partners including the Joint Terrorism Task Force. Investigators continue to examine whether the home was specifically targeted.
