"Mahmoud Khalil, the Columbia University graduate and student protester who was detained for several months by ICE earlier this year, is suing the Trump administration for information about its partnerships with organizations such as Canary Mission that dox pro-Palestinian protesters, according to an announcement released by the Center for Constitutional Rights. During a trial concerning the Trump administration's efforts to deport pro-Palestinian international students, an ICE official said that they had used such sites to identify potential targets."
"Prior to the trial, Khalil filed a Freedom of Information Act request regarding the relationship between the administration and organizations such as Canary Mission, but the request has gone unfulfilled. "Mr. Khalil and the public at large have the right to know about the depth of the collusion between the federal government and the shadowy groups targeting people who speak out against a genocide," said Adina Marx-Arpadi, an attorney and Justice Fellow at the Center for Constitutional Rights, in the press release."
