Neuhaus reposted several messages supporting Roberts and his defense of Carlson on social media, including a particularly controversial post suggesting outraged Heritage employees should resign, which angered staff and conservative allies. Heritage said Neuhaus offered his resignation, which was accepted, and praised his service.
