Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer entered into two primary-residence mortgages in quick succession, including for a second home near a country club in Arizona, where she's known to vacation."

Subsequent investigations uncovered at least three Cabinet members with mortgages listing multiple homes as primary residences: Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, and EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin. The cabinet members denied wrongdoing, and the White House called the findings a politically motivated smear.
