CNN's Abby Phillip faced criticism for not pushing back when she appeared as a guest. Welch returned on The Jim Acosta Show to attack Trump's racist rant against Somali migrants and to criticize Miller as Trump's guiding influence. Welch described Miller as "Mr. Prime Minister," accused him of psychotic devotion to anti-immigrant rhetoric, and urged continued, clear-eyed calling out of White nationalist and fascist parallels.
