Jamie Raskin said the Department of Justice and Bondi were essentially monitoring House Democrats' computer searches, calling the practice a violation of the separation of powers and "Orwellian." Raskin said there is reason to believe the monitoring affected everyone who visited the files and declined to provide further detail while promising more comment later. Rep. Pramila Jayapal characterized the incident as spying on members of Congress.
