Russia's plea for help from China, North Korea, and Iran during the Ukraine invasion raised concerns about a new coalition against the West. However, during past conflicts, these countries refrained from supporting Iran. China and Russia only condemned U.S. actions verbally without providing assistance. Analysts emphasize that these countries are largely pacifist regarding mutual conflicts and lack significant coordination, despite sharing an adversarial stance towards the U.S. Only North Korea and Russia have a defense pact and have shown military cooperation, particularly in Ukraine.
Each of these countries is completely pacifist and they don't want to get involved in each other's wars. Unlike the US and its allies, these countries do not necessarily have the same structures, values and institutional links with each other.
There is probably little coordination between China, North Korea, Iran and Russia, so that they share views and have conversations around the centre of dissatisfaction with the United States, but not very meaningful coordination with each other.
